A Little Bit About Us

Jaime Goodhue (they/them) is the artist behind Featherwind Forge. They are a jeweler, metalworker, and multimedia sculptor who grew up in Belmont Massachusetts. They fell in love with metals after taking several continuing education classes at MassArt in welding and bladesmithing as an extracurricular activity during highschool. After graduating highschool they pursued this passion by taking a year off to apprentice with several artists and metal workers, and even an internship in the education department at the Higgins Armory Museum in Worcester Massachusetts. Jaime then attended one year at SFAI, but found it wasn't quite what they were looking for. After spending some years working at various cafe’s, restaurants, and funky retail establishments, Jaime attended the jewelry program at the North Bennet Street School in Boston’s North End, and graduated in 2019.  Jaime then started working for Emily Surrete at e.scott originals where they work to this day.
